Clarissa

My name is Clarissa (She/Her).

Filipino-American born and raised in Seattle. I started in the beauty industry as a makeup artist, freelancing for photoshoots, weddings and eventually working for Sephora. I've been in the hair industry as a licensed cosmetologist for eight years and a licensed esthetician since 2024. I love all things in the beauty industry and have a passion for understanding trends and ingredients in both skin and hair care! I enjoy taking classes and keeping up with current trends and ingredients in the industry.

I specialize in lived- in color, high impact blondes, cutting/texturizing hair, hand- tied extensions, gray-silver hair blending, shaved head designs, pastel-vivid colors and color corrections. I am known as a coarse, thick and dark hair specialist. I've worked in New York Fashion week and am a traveling stylist frequenting Los Angeles since 2022 for hair services and styling.

I am inspired by nature, art and people. I love to be outside and by water. I would consider myself a life-long learner, constantly curious with the world around me. For this reason, I like to travel and socialize because it gives me greater perspective and purpose. You can also find me working out, going on foodie adventures, listening to various music genres, learning about fashion and going to museums!

Wesley

My name is Wesley (he/they).

I started my beauty journey back in 2005 by taking my first makeup artistry course, and my passion and career have been beauty ever since. After working as an independent makeup artist and in retail cosmetics with brands like NARS, Urban Decay, Chanel, and Tom Ford, I decided to follow in the footsteps of my hairdresser eldest sister, going to cosmetology school and obtaining my license in 2014. With over 20 years as a makeup artist and 12 as a hairdresser, I still find joy and inspiration in helping people express themselves and find their own personal brand of beauty.

As a Southern California native, I was raised around the hottest trends, but with a laid back lifestyle. This influenced my personal style of hairdressing and makeup artistry, a marriage of chic and effortless. I specialize in lived-in color such as seamlessly blended blondes and dimensional brunettes, and I love haircuts that have texture, bounce, and movement. I’ve also really enjoyed helping people discover ways to wear their natural texture, and am always learning new ways to cut and style waves and curls. I like my clients to feel like their hair looks great from the time they leave my chair until they’re back in it the next. My makeup style is softness meets glamour, so regardless if the look is bold or demure, it’s always blended and timeless.

Outside of beauty, I’m an avid reader that’s always lost in some sort of queer romance novel. I also enjoy singing, which you may or may not be subjected to while in my chair. I’m a pet parent to a dog and two cats (my dog Sadie may be at the salon when you visit), and I love the natural beauty of western Washington, though I could stand to get out in it more. I’ve been focused on personal growth in different areas for a long time, whether that means being more kind and compassionate, or more healthy and fit, or more mentally and emotionally well.

Dani

My name is Dani (She/Her).

Born and raised in desert climates, I’ve always been drawn to the bold and the bright. I’ve been in the beauty industry for 9 years, specializing in color from the very start. My love for hair began back in my scene-queen days when edgy cuts and neon shades were everything and that passion for creativity (and honestly, a little weirdness) has stuck with me ever since. Whether it’s vivids, platinum blondes, lived-in brunettes, or fiery reds, I’m always excited to bring bold visions to life.

Beyond hair, my goal is to create real, genuine connections with my clients and help them feel like the most confident, powerful version of themselves. If you’re ready to talk, I’m here to listen. To me, doing hair isn’t just about color and style. It’s about two humans hanging out, sharing stories, and connecting.

When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me at music festivals (my playlists range from dad rock to full-on Swiftie), reading (you’re absolutely safe to read smut in my chair. I’ll probably ask for the plot), trying new fitness classes, or chasing sunsets in nature. I also work part-time at Urban Animal, which means I’m a huge pet lover. I have two cats and a dog named Pawpaw, who occasionally tags along to the salon and would love nothing more than to curl up in your lap for cuddles.

Anna

My Name is Anna, but most of you know me as Anna Scissor Hands! (She/Her)

For my professional persona, I wanted something catchy that captures the essence of an alternative hairstylist who loves giving unique hairstyles and hair color to the community of Seattle - cuts, such as mullets, shags, wolf cuts etc. I have a background in barbering as well. I offer short cuts to skin fades and everything in between.

I want everyone to feel comfortable and welcomed in my space also making true connections with my clients. I want all my clients to feel educated and confident when leaving the salon. I take a lot of pride and care to ensure you are satisfied.

Sid

My name is Sid! (They/Them)

Outside of doing hair, my main special interest is all things marine life! I love spending time by the ocean and I even volunteer at the Seattle aquarium in my free time. Come to me for fabulous hair and your daily dose of animal facts! I'm a major nerd and very passionate about Sci-Fi, comics, video games, Dungeons and Dragons and reading. I'd love to hear about what makes you nerd out! I'm also a model so you may catch me on the runway!!

With six years in the industry I'm confident working with all hair types. I specialize in curly hair, from wavy, curly, coils, and Afro hair I specialize in all things texture. As a black and indigenous queer person of color who knows how important hair is to culture and identity, I always strive to serve my community and provide excellent results and a safe space. Some of my favorite services to do are curly cuts, fades, mullets, blondes and buzzcut hair colors!! I love fostering community and connection I want all my clients to feel safe in a chill fun environment and leave my chair feeling more confident than they walked in!
